🐾 Reflecting on an Unforgettable First Year: A Message from Mr. Ed 🐾

As the quiet of the final week settles over our hallways, I find myself sitting in my office, looking back on the past ten months with a heart full of overwhelming gratitude. Stepping into the role of your Principal this year was a monumental moment for me, filled with all the natural nerves of a new beginning. But the moment I joined this community, those nerves vanished, replaced by the profound warmth, grace, and open arms with which you all welcomed me.

You didn’t just accept me as your new Principal; you embraced me as part of the St. Joe’s family.

To our incredible staff: Every single day, I have been privileged to witness the quiet miracles you perform in your classrooms. I see the boundless love, the fierce dedication, and the deep faith you pour into our kids. You are the heartbeat of the Wolfpack. Watching you uplift our students, foster their virtues, and celebrate their growth has been the greatest joy of my first year. Thank you for your partnership and your tireless dedication.

To our wonderful families and parent community: Thank you for your endless support, your volunteer hours, and for trusting us with your beautiful children. A school is only as strong as the community behind it, and your partnership is what makes St. Joe's so incredibly special.

And to our amazing students: Thank you for your laughter, your hard work, and the joy you bring into these hallways every single day. You make me proud to be a Wolfpack member!

You have all truly earned this time of rest. As we leave the school behind for the summer, I pray you find deep rest, long laughter with your loved ones, and the peace that comes from a year beautifully lived.

As you go, I offer our entire school community this blessing from the very bottom of my heart:

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." — Numbers 6:24-26

Thank you, St. Joe’s, for an unforgettable first year. God bless you all, and have a beautiful, safe summer!

With deep affection and gratitude,

Mr. Ed

Principal, St. Joseph Catholic School

Please give this song a listen! It is my PRAYER and BLESSING to our entire community!

"May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, he is with you"

🎓✨ Celebrating the Class of 2026! ✨🎓
Last night, the St. Joseph Catholic School community came together for a truly spirit-filled ceremony to celebrate our incredible Grade 8 graduates! We could not be prouder of this amazing group of students. From their leadership in our hallways to how absolutely gorgeous they all looked last night, they shone so brightly.
A massive congratulations to all of our award winners! Your hard work, resilience, and dedication have truly paid off.
An event like this takes a village, and we want to extend our heartfelt thank yous to the special guests and hands who made this night unforgettable: 🌟 Our Superintendent, Paul Tsekouras, and Board Trustee, Suzanne Lefrance, for their continued guidance and leadership. 🌟 Our System Catholicity Lead, Carlo Porretta, for his spiritual support. 🌟 The Catholic Women's League for preparing and serving such a delicious meal for our graduates and guests. 🌟 Our amazing St. Joe's staff who poured their hearts into organizing a beautiful send-off.
❤️ Most importantly, THANK YOU to our parents and families. Thank you for your unwavering support, your partnership, and for trusting your beautiful children to our care over the years. It has been an honor to watch them grow.
Wolfpack, as you head off to high school, remember to walk with faith, kindness, and courage. We will miss you! - MR ED 🐺🎒

The Grade 7/8 class ended the school year by making homemade crêpes and whipped cream in French class. It was a sweet way to celebrate the end of an era for some (we'll miss you, Grade 8's) and the end of the school year for all. Bonne chance to our amazing seniors as they head into summer! Shout-out to our student photographer, Sarah. Thanks for getting in there with the camera!

We were so thankful to welcome Destin Dumais back again this year to sing, play, praise, and talk about music production! His genuine love of music and God shone through with every group. He included and encouraged all students to make music with their built-in musical instrument - their voice. We had a great day and are already looking forward to welcoming him back next year.

🧗‍♂️☀️ What an AMAZING day at St. Joseph Catholic School! ☀️
Our school yard has been transformed into an adventure park today, and our students and staff are having an absolute BLAST at our Fun and Climb Day! From scaling the massive rock-climbing wall to tackling the ropes course and sinking holes-in-one at mini golf, the energy today is through the roof!
🙌 A HUGE shout-out and a heartfelt thank you to the Greenstone Métis Council for sponsoring this incredible day for our kiddos. Your generosity has made this a week to remember for the entire Wolfpack!
🐐🐓 But the fun didn't stop there! We also want to send a very special thank you to our very own, amazing custodian, Matt, who brought in his own animals and set up a wonderful petting zoo for us today! The students loved getting to meet their new furry and feathered friends.
Thank you to everyone who worked together to make today so full of joy, laughter, and community! 🐺❤️
