Suitable for the absolute beginner, yet beneficial for the Intermediate student. Learn the essential techniques you need to paint confidently with acrylics! A great refresher for those who have already started their acrylic journey. Starting with the anatomy of acrylic paint, weekly projects explore innovative possibilities of this modern medium. All techniques will be carefully demonstrated, using photo reference and possibly Still Life.🎨

Throughout this course you will learn:

• how to read a pattern

• how to chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double, double and treble crochet to put a ridged surface in the design

• how to start and finish a small project of your choice, such as a scarf, hat or bag.

With workshops taught across Canada, the US, Japan, China, Korea and Italy, plus years as an Adjunct professor of ceramics at Sheridan College, Tony brings a Global Perspective and real world wisdom you won’t find in a textbook.

Many of our potters left the studio with a new outlook, reflecting on their own creative process and feeling inspired to experiment with some new techniques themselves!
