Davis came to the flight test exceptionally well prepared, demonstrating excellent aircraft handling and some of the best situational awareness we’ve seen in recent times. His ability to stay composed improved steadily throughout the flight, allowing him to perform at a high level even under pressure.

One of the biggest milestones ahead will be gaining the confidence to let students perform manoeuvres to the required standard—not just the way the instructor expects. As every instructor learns, there are multiple safe and effective ways to complete an exercise, and that confidence comes with experience.
