“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
What an awesome day we had celebrating our Spring Concert and the graduation of the first Kindergarten class at Crossroads Academy! We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the members of Gander Gospel Hall for opening your facility to us and stepping in to help make this event such a great success.
It has been an amazing and prosperous year as we have witnessed God’s plan unfolding before our eyes. Our students have grown in every aspect of their lives, but most importantly, spiritually. We are deeply thankful to the many individuals and organizations who have supported our school throughout its beginning year.
First and foremost, we thank our Heavenly Father for giving Angela Hodder the vision of establishing a place where children could be educated according to God’s plan in Gander. His hand has been evident in every aspect of our school, and all the glory belongs to Him. Angela, thank you for your faith, courage, and obedience to His calling.
Secondly, thank you to our parents for entrusting your children to our care and instruction. Being pioneers and stepping out in faith is never easy, but God will continue to honour your hearts and sacrifices. We are grateful for your partnership and support throughout this journey.
We would also like to recognize Evangel Church for housing our school and accommodating us each day. Your kindness, generosity, and support have been invaluable, and we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
To our Board of Directors, faithful prayer warriors, financial supporters, and everyone who has stood behind the scenes encouraging and supporting this ministry, thank you. Your contributions have played an important role in making this year possible. May God pour out His blessings upon each of you as we continue to trust in His promise of hope and a prosperous future.
To Amelia, Hudson, Chantelle, Meredith, Jucielle, Susanna and Lisa, watching you all grow in your love for God and His Word has been the highlight of our year. Thank you for being you! You are the very first students of Crossroads Academy and we could not ask for better representatives of our school. You all have your unique talents and personalities that have contributed in the greatest way to making this the best place to teach. You are loved beyond words and we know God has even greater things in store for you all.
Last, but certainly not least, thank you, Lyanne—my right hand and left hand throughout this entire year. You have faithfully stood beside me through both the joyful and challenging days. Together, we have worked diligently to carry out God’s plans for Crossroads Academy. Your dedication, creativity, kindness, and love for the students have been second to none. We love and appreciate you dearly and will continue to pray for you as God continues His work in your life.
We could not have asked for a better inaugural year (although perhaps fewer snow days would have been nice!). As we look ahead, we are excited and expectant to see what God has in store for Crossroads Academy. We trust that He who has begun this good work will continue to lead, provide, and bless in the years to come.
To God be all the glory!
