New Fun Land Child Care

Is there a child under 5 years old in your life? If so I have a feeling that both you and Dolly Parton work longer hours than 9-5! Sign up for this free book program. Yes, free. A free book delivered to every child under 5 years old in Gander and Benton. More than one child in the household under 5? They too can sign up. A book per child!

New to Gander/Benton is the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - Gander, NL Yay and kudos to Sherry Harnett for becoming the local affiliate volunteer to coordinate this. And I hear thanks are in order for the Gander Lions Club who committed to sponsoring the gift of books for this area.

Other groups like Gander Rotary Club are also involved and recently made a donation from their gold mine 50/50 proceeds to sponsor books for children in communities around the loop. If your business or community group would like to learn more about the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and sponsorship they are active in many communities across NL. Lemonade stands, carnivals, baking, slime making, frog catching, picnics, and exploring our communities are just some of the things we have been doing this summer; what a fun one it was!

Thanks to our educators for providing a great summer of learning for our children ☺️

A reminder that we are closed on Monday, September 5th, for the Labour Day holiday. We will see all of you back on Tuesday morning. Have a safe and wonderful long weekend! ☀️

The school age children at New Fun Land 6 in Gander are hosting a fundraiser for the centres in Africa! Stop by 100 Roe Avenue during pick up to enjoy a cold and fresh cup of lemonade and a delicious muffin! No set prices, any donation is accepted and appreciated 🍋 🥰

We always look forward to summers here at New Fun Land. They are always filled with lots of fun, sun, water, lots of outdoor time and of course lots of learning!

The weather has been amazing and we’ve been taking every opportunity to explore nature and our community! Check back in the near future for more summer fun ☺️☀️
