We want to say a huge thank you to our students, parents, and staff for making this school year so incredible. You've worked hard, grown so much, and now it's time to celebrate!

Whether you are heading out on a grand adventure, splashing at the pool, or just relaxing with a good book, we hope your summer is filled with sunshine, laughter, and lots of fun.

A tremendous day at GE with our Loukoumi students giving back to the community. We presented cheques today to 14 different charities and organizations totalling $4065.65. This amount was raised by our students at the Loukoumi Good Deed Celebration Day.

Charities include; Janeway, Canadian Cancer Society, Princess Margaret Foundation, Daffodil Place, Broadening Horizons, Gander Wings Special Olympics, Shriners Club, Salvation Army Family Services, Evangel Furniture Ministry, Matthew Sargent Foundation, SPCA, Central Paws, Red Cross, Ronald MacDonald House.

We have our new pride crosswalk, new layer of crushed stone for our greenhouse space. A big thank you to our Gander Military Family for coming out and supporting our breakfast program and support our troops walk. Thank you to our entire GE community for your generous support. GO HAWKS!!

GE was incredibly excited to be named a Jays Care Foundation Affiliate School for the 2025-26 school year. Supported by the Toronto Blue Jays and the Jays Care foundation, this program provided baseball gloves, bats, helmets, tees, baseballs and other equipment to our school. All of our players were also super excited to receive some awesome Blue Jays merchandise, including a t-shirt and baseball cap! Special thanks to our two junior coaches, Jonah Kennedy and Max Badcock, for helping to run this first-year program. Exciting times at GE! Go Hawks! Go Jays! Let's Play Ball!
