Andrea Peckford, RMT | Update 🌿
After returning from a much needed two week summer vacation, I’ve had to make a decision that, truthfully, isn’t an easy one for me.
At this time, I am unable to accept any new massage therapy clients for the remainder of 2026.
I love what I do. I love helping people, and my natural instinct is always to try to find another opening, squeeze someone in, or somehow make the schedule work. But I’ve also realized that continuing to do that isn’t sustainable.
This decision is not about wanting to work less or caring any less about my clients. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. This year, I increased my regular three-day work week back to five days in an effort to help meet the growing demand for massage therapy in our area. Even with those additional days, the demand continues to exceed what I can sustainably provide.
I want to continue being an RMT for many years to come. I want to show up for every person who enters my treatment room with the energy, attention, care, and quality of treatment they deserve, while still having something left for my family and for myself at the end of the day.
Protecting that balance means recognizing my capacity before burnout makes that decision for me.
What does this mean going forward?
For the remainder of 2026, my practice will remain focused on my existing clientele.
In January 2027, if my schedule has availability, I will temporarily open online booking to new clients. That booking window will only remain open for a short period and will close again once I have reached a sustainable number of clients.
If you are hoping to become a client, please continue to check my page for updates, as any openings or changes to new-client availability will be posted here.
I know there are people who have been hoping to book with me, and I genuinely appreciate every referral, recommendation, message, and person who has trusted me enough to reach out.
And to my existing clients: thank you. Your continued trust in me and my work is something I never take for granted.
Creating boundaries around my practice is ultimately how I hope to keep doing the work I love, without sacrificing my own well-being or the time that belongs to my family.
Sometimes taking care of the person who welcomes you into the treatment room is part of making sure I can continue taking care of the people who enter it.
Thank you for understanding, for respecting this boundary, and for continuing to support.
Andrea Peckford, RMT.

Planning your next camping trip? Check out these tips to avoid injury and making memories with your campground crew.
🏕️ Camp Set-up and Travel
So you just packed up the car, drove for a few hours and now you have to set up camp. Try doing some light movement, walk around the campsite, drink lots of water, to avoid hurting yourself.
⛺ Choose a Supportive Sleeping Surface 🚐
Tenting? Consider bring a supportive sleeping pad or air mattress to give you a good night’s sleep without the pain the next morning.
Camper? Many RV mattresses are lower quality and harder to find - a good quality mattress is worth the investment for those who spend more time at the camp ground than home during the summertime.
🎒 Pack Smart
Less totes or bins means heavier lifting. While it may seem silly to pack half full bins, it means that there will be less load on your back. Spread out your heavy items between totes.
🚶 Stretch Before and After Activities
Whether you’re setting up camp, gathering firewood or lifting coolers, your body needs time to warm up and prevent injury. Some gentle stretches and mobility can help avoid muscle strain.

Being a small business means so much more than opening our doors each day. It means showing up for our community, supporting local initiatives, and giving back whenever we can.
We’re proud to support events like the Ladies’ Annual Golf Tournament—bringing people together, celebrating friendships, and helping make a positive impact in the sport of women’s golf.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and every golfer who makes this event such a success. We feel incredibly grateful to be a small part of something that brings people together while supporting a great cause. We even had a little fun this year with team costumes!

While we focus on the sunshine and nice weather, sometimes we focus more on maximizing outdoors time and forgetting about keeping hydrated. ☀️🥤
🧠 Did you know water plays an important role in keeping your joints and spine functioning properly? Even mild dehydration can contribute to fatigue, muscle tightness and decreased physical performance.
Simple hydration tips ⬇️
💧Carry a reusable water bottle
💧Eat water-rich foods like cucumber, watermelon and berries
💧Coffee and other caffeinated beverages don’t always provide the water your body needs
💧Increase your water intake on hot days and when you are more physically active

At Gander Chiropractic Integrated Health, we believe meaningful impact happens when community comes together.
We’re honoured to take part in the International Lounge Foundation’s community mural project—a beautiful initiative that reflects the heart and spirit of Gander.
This mural is more than art; it is a powerful symbol of compassion, connection, and the kindness our community is known for. Each tile represents a story, a memory, and a shared commitment to preserving a legacy that continues to inspire generations.
We are proud to be part of something so meaningful and grateful to stand alongside others in celebrating the strength, heart, and humanity of our community. ❤️
