Kawandi is an applique style of quilting practised by the Afro-Indian Siddi communities in India. Use fabric scraps, a simple hand stitching technique, and your imagination to create colourful, one-of-a-kind quilts. Drop in July 15 from noon - 2:30 (by donation) for an introduction to Kawandi.
