Today I wheeled the sledgehammer! Setting up my 60’ x 30’ event tent for the festival I created, SHE IS WILD Festival & Community

This is the 7th annual SHE IS WILD!

I would never have taken on this festival if I hadn’t believed in myself while also embracing the unknown.

Move forward with complete confidence and total uncertainty and you can never fail.

I’ve been moving through a reprogramming.
Calling in presence and intimacy with life.
Calling in beauty and magic.
And taking responsibility for this co-creation.

i’m gonna be the one to bring me back to life.

It hasn’t been easy.

This spring, I made the very hard decision to move out of my home. The home I shared with my partner and two children.

This decision came after several years of tears and moving through layers of self deception, submission, and enabling the wounded feminine.

Grief and I have become close friends.
And by getting to know grief, I have also come to know Joy more deeply.

I have built myself a home in the woods.
A sacred space for my healing to happen.

A place for stillness, play, reflection, and integration.

Here I am learning to know Queen Maeve. Kali. Freya. And many other consorts.

My children play here with me.
My partner and I are rebuilding our love.

Life is rich.
And I feel alive.

Feeling is the gift here.
To be in relationship with the kaleidoscope of sensations within my body is what is enlivening me.
I welcome at all!
I choose non suffering.
I choose to not abandon myself.

This is my one wild and precious life.
And I’m choosing to live it now.

Wholeness produces wholeness
Only wholeness comes out of wholeness
Only wholeness is.

The wholeness and perfection mantra

mantra is one of the ways that we can be in relationship with the faces of the divine. This mantra sings to the divine within us, to our wholeness, to the light at the centre of our awareness.

Source from wholeness, sweet one. Not your wounds.

In mountain shamanism we work with medicine bundles, the Mesa, the House of Spirit. Our medicine bundles are connected to the land, two places of power, the mountain spirits, the Apus and Nustas.

Through feeding the land with our offerings and prayers, through our breath and intentional engagement with our medicine body, we build lines of connection to these places of power.

As our connection grows stronger, our power grows as well. This holds us in our service to our communities.

The medicine person tends to the soul, the heart of their community.

It is the work of the medicine person to stay connected, to give back, and to feed the spirits.

Decolonize your medicine practice. Remember to give back, to give more than you take, being in right relationship with the land and your people, make your services accessible, and listen for when you’re being asked to make changes in how you show up.

Balance is always changing. Both in the personal and the collective.

Stay awake. Stay aware. Don’t get stuck in what you think you know.

Energetic hygiene is crucial to a sustainable wellness practice.

Clear in between clients, practising detach compassion, holding it all without holding it at all. These are some of the tools I use daily.
