With the start of the school year, we want to remind drivers in the Tri-County region to be mindful of school buses bringing students to and from school. Help keep our students safe: do not pass school buses with stop arms out and red lights flashing. Passing these school buses is dangerous, and it's against the law.

There are many people who support our students that travel from as far as Yarmouth to be part of our school community. These are some of the staff that support the mental and physical well being of our youth.

-Pam is one of our school Psychologists
-Taylor is a consultant from Student Services
-Chanelle is our Adolescent Outreach Worker who was based in the school last year but this year will keep hours at the Freeport health clinic.
-Amy is our Youth Health Centre Coordinator (YHCC)

We appreciate these ladies visits to the school, working with staff & students to better the school environment for all.

Thursday, September 10, 2026, is Stand Up Against Bullying Day in Nova Scotia

About the Day The Goal: Promote safe, inclusive, respectful, and healthy school environments and relationships.

How to Participate: Wear pink to show support for caring school communities and take a stand against bullying.

Nova Scotia Roots: Nova Scotia observes the second Thursday of September as Stand Up Against Bullying Day. This honors the origin of the Pink Shirt Day movement. In 2007, two high school students in Berwick, Nova Scotia, bought and distributed pink shirts after a new student was bullied for wearing one.

Hello Clipper Families,

📆Our first official day back is Thursday September 3rd.

Doors open at 8:10 am. Dismissal is 2:20 pm.

On the first day of school only, families who wish to do so are welcome to enter the building and accompany their child to their classroom/locker. As we work together to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all of our staff and students, families will not be permitted to accompany students to their classrooms/lockers after the first day.

🏫Friday September 4th- We kindly ask that families report to the main office when entering/visiting the school, and that you remain at the entrance when saying goodbye to your children when you do drop off. Staff members will be available at the entrance and throughout the school to welcome students and help them find their classroom.

🍎School Lunch Program- The official lunch program, you may have noticed when ordering, does not start until Tuesday September 8th. The first two days of school (Sept 3 and 4) there will be a lunch option provided if your child does not have lunch.

We can't wait to see everyone on Thursday!
