We deliver an outdoor-based program where children use the environment and objects found in nature to explore. Forest School philosophy is that children need to spend a large portion of their day outdoors to get the stimulation and natural learning experiences. Today we made special surprises for the dads and dad figures in our lives! When we weren't making our surprises or decorating our cards our friends had a bunch of fun getting wet and playing together in the rain!
We have a friend who is missing their orange Muddy buddy. If everyone could check that they do not have two or one with the wrong name we would appreciate it!

On Tuesday our forest school program had the pleasure to visit the Dancing Goat Therapy Farm! Miss Arthi was a fantastic host and introduced us to so many sweet animals. We got to meet and hold bunnies, chickens, ducks, and baby turkeys. We also got to feed and have a chance to milk and pet the goats, learned about the jobs bees do and even learned a bee dance! They had lots of different types of eggs to see and hold and learn about what birds laid them. All the kids were so brave and adventurous! We had many friends who were fantastic bird catchers. When it was time to say goodbye we had some kids who didn't want to leave. It was such a fantastic field trip that all our pictures won't fit in one post so keep your eyes peeled for our second post!

Today we had our last campfire😭. While the three's took their turn we had lots of fun in our base camp. Everyone had a turn to roast a spider dog and a marshmallow for a s'more and did a fantastic job! It was a delicious way to end our campfire snacks. We also got our homemade dirt shirts back today! All the kids made the coolest designs and were really excited to get them back.

Forest school 3’s made some trail mix on Tuesday to take with us into the woods to set up our tent. The children tried really hard to put the tent up themselves but asked for help when it was needed. After set up we added the hammocks and everyone tried our trail mix. We had a few squirrels that loved it too! Some of the children added to our shelter that has been worked on the last year. So much fun and laughs!
