The “School Days” Museum in Fredericton is waiting for your visit from June 9th to August 22nd, 2026!
Visiting Hours:
Monday to Friday: 10am-5pm.
Saturday: 1pm to 4pm (beginning in July)
Re-enactments in the one-room school will take place on Wednesday afternoons in July and August at 1:30pm and on other days re-enactments will be impromptu. Take part in a lesson as taught years ago!
Step back in time and enjoy a guided tour of early school days memories ... or just browse at your own will. Enjoy many exhibits from early classroom education: text books, photos of Normal School grads back in the very early years, countless photos of one-room schoolhouses, a replica of a one-room school classroom, and items used in those early school days. Have an interesting peek into the past!
Directions: Drive to the bottom of York Street and park in the city parking lot. Pay the parking fee at the booth near the entry of the museum BEHIND the Justice Building. Look for the sign
“School Days” Museum above the entrance door.
