I think one of the most amazing parts of working with children is how they remind me, every day, to hold on to my sense of whimsy. They invite me to notice the wonder woven through the ordinary—to slow down, look closely, and really see what’s around us.

Today we discovered an egg marked by tiny raccoon footprints, found the perfect sticks for mud writing, listened to a white-throated sparrow singing nearby, and watched baby chicks work their way out of their shells before fluffing up in the most delightful way.

It was a pretty amazing day and it’s not even done yet. ✨
