Adult Literacy Fredericton

We’re excited to officially welcome Helen Hiltz as our new Program Manager!

Helen brings years of experience as a librarian, with a strong background in educational programming, volunteer support, and community partnerships. She’s passionate about advancing adult literacy in our community and looks forward to connecting with our tutors and learners.

Beginning next week, Helen’s office hours will be Monday through Thursday, 12–5 pm, or by appointment.

We’ve also moved to a new office—now located near the top of the stairs (no change to the Tutoring Room location). Be sure to stop by and say hello!

You could be a volunteer tutor - yes you! We provide training and support - you provide your time as a volunteer. In just a few hours a month you could help an adult learner improve their reading and writing skills.
