As the old adage goes: "many hands make light work!" 💪🪏

An impromptu clean-up crew assembled to help Ms. Leslie sweep the gravel off the sidewalk, making the job easier and quicker for everyone. If anyone needs some handy work done, we know a great team 😉

Happy September 1st!

Even though the summer seemed to fly by, it isn't quite over yet ☀️ Rounding out our last stretch of summer fun, we are putting our creative talents to good use with art week! 🖌️🖍️ Painting, drawing, colour mixing, photography...a perfect send off before the new school year starts.

Yesterday the world lost an icon and a bright, shining light 💫 💫💫

Known most prominently for her music and sparkly fashions, Dolly Parton was also a passionate philanthropist. Spurred by her own father’s inability to read and write, Dolly created the Imagination Library, a monthly book gifting program across 5 countries to registered children ages 0-5, regardless of income.

As early childhood educators, we are inspired by her dedication to children’s literacy and moved by her unwavering commitment to leaving the world a little better than she found it. Indeed, she has succeeded in that and then some.

Thank you Dolly for inspiring a love of reading in young children. We can all take a page out of her book (😉 pun intended)📚❤️
