Now's your chance! Our 6-Week Intro to Pottery class starts Thursday, Sep 10.
Your instructor is Dimitra Bountalas , a ceramic artist based in Fredericton. She finds inspiration in the forest. Shifting light. Rough textures. Little details most people walk past. Her work has shown across the Maritimes.

Now she's teaching beginners the basics. From hand-building and wheel throwing, to glazing and firing.

You'll leave with pieces you made yourself.

No experience needed. Register now!

We are clearing out a number of items that have been kept in the community centre for quite a while. We’ll be leaving them on the side of the building over the next few days with a ‘FREE’ sign thus, if you’d like them. Please take them!

We also have some other items that we will be selling for reasonable prices such as some very large fish tanks, reptile tanks, tables, media stands/wheels and some other random things.

🌿 We love seeing our community garden in action. Thanks to our friends at Greater Fredericton Social Innovation for putting it to good use and helping nourish our community 💚

Today, we're honoured to continue that legacy by filling these halls with creativity 🎨, craftsmanship 🛠️, lifelong learning 📚, and community. 🤝

Canada is more than a place. It's the people who lend a helping hand, share their knowledge, and create spaces where everyone feels welcome. ❤️ That's the spirit we strive to nurture every day at Unity Community Centre.

Today, we're celebrating not only our country's history, but also the artists, makers, educators, volunteers, environmental advocates, Indigenous leaders, community organizations, and neighbours who help make this building a place where people can learn, collaborate, and make a difference.
