During , we want to feature National Historic Site right on campus, the William Brydone Jack Observatory! Dr. William Brydone Jack, professor of mathematics, physics and astronomy as well as President of , convinced the college council to buy a telescope and build an observatory, the first the first of its kind in Canada. This year's pride exhibit in the Research Commons connects to World Pride and their theme of Unity = Tolerance 💙, Unity = Love ❤️, Unity = Connectedness 💜. Featured are prominent 2SLGBQTIA+ books from Special Collections, a retrospective look at Qwerty Magazine for their 30th anniversary, photos from Fredericton's Pride festivals, and a celebration of 25 years of marriage equality around the world!

John Biddle’s story stands apart as a fascinating contrast to the experiences of his siblings and cousins, as the only Loyalist in a large family of Revolutionary supporters. And unlike other family members of this era, the details of John’s life during the Revolution have remained largely in the dark. Research Assistant Brie Stoltzfus's recent research into his life have revealed a trove of primary sources that have yielded new insights into John and his family’s unique experience of the Revolution, which included estate forfeiture and exile to New Brunswick.
