¿Tus amigos quieren hablar español? Do you want to practice your Spanish? Here's your chance!
Día Hispánico en STU: I would like to invite you and your students to our Hispanic Day fiesta, which will take place on Monday, February 25, 2019 form 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Ted Daigle Auditorium. The main objective of the event is to experience culture and language by providing the students of Spanish the opportunity to display their talents, and their knowledge of the language. The Hispanic Day promotes and cultivates the culture, language and history of the Spanish-speaking world, as well as multi-cultural awareness and world peace. Students of all language levels participate with papers, plays, songs, poems, dances and other cultural activities. Lunch featuring Spanish food served from 12:30 to 1:20 pm (venue TBA). There will be a “piñata” from 1:30-2:00 pm at ECH 223. We hope to see you there, Haydée E. Sainz, Organizer
