🔒 Cybersecurity Awareness Month: Week 1 — Think Before You Click
Phishing emails can look like they come from trusted colleagues and may use familiar language to gain your trust. Before you click, take a moment to make sure the message is legitimate.
A few things to watch for:
▪Check the sender's email address—even if you recognize the name
▪Be cautious of unexpected links or attachments—especially if the message asks you to sign in or provide information
▪Watch for signs of suspicious emails—if something seems off, confirm it through another method like Microsoft Teams
▪Pause before you click—take a moment to consider whether the message is expected and makes sense
