Yesterday we chatted about: the importance of communicating with your family, discussing AND documenting your final wishes and having difficult conversations to avoid the trauma that death can bring...and so much MORE!
All in a safe and supportive space.

On the heels of a successful "Death over Dinner" event April 29, we are planning for another one this Fall.
Stay tuned for details about that.
If you are looking for a safe space to discuss death and dying and everything in between, then join us for the last Death Café of the season, on Monday, May 25 2pm-3pm at the Brookside Wellness Centre.

Our first "Death over Dinner" was a great success!
We had an amazing evening: good conversations with good food; receiving lots of ideas for personalizing a funeral and connecting with others who need and want to talk about death.
Thank you to Normand McDonald for sharing his ideas and expertise.
Thank you to the North side Pizza Delight for hosting us.

Today is the last day to register for our upcoming "Death Over Dinner".
What is that, you ask?
It’s another opportunity for adults to talk about death and dying in a safe and comfortable space.
We will have a Guest Speaker and talking points for each table.
The mood is anything but somber!
The event is FREE but you are responsible for your own meal.
Space is limited so if you want a seat at the table, register by midnight.

All in a safe and supportive space.
The next Death Cafe will be May 25 so be sure to get there if you have always wanted to see what this is about.
