Nothing like a classic adventure novel to feed the imagination! 'Swallows and Amazons' connected us to nature and history, with great characters and ideas; it inspired the children to try new things and assess their own capabilities!

We are looking for friends to join our Chickadee book club! It is going to be a fun, adventure-filled summer reading the classic novel 'Amazons and Swallows' by Arthur Ransome. 🌞
This program is geared towards ages 6-12; cost includes a journal, a picnic snack each afternoon, and all craft materials. The book may be borrowed from the library or purchased. We will read three chapters at each meeting and then three chapters will be read at home before the next week.
