The children graciously welcomed moms, mother-figures and a few dads today for coffee and muffins and sharing our work.❤️ We love and appreciate those who take care of us. Thank you for joining us!

The sensorial extensions and variations allow our older children to re-visit previously learned materials, diving deeper, forming new connections and further engaging in exploration and self-construction.

In a Montessori children’s house, the adult must radiate love and respect for the materials, environment and people of the community. If we, the guides, model reverence, the children will follow and classroom harmony will be the result. It all starts with the preparation of the adult.

The children are always drawn to the Waseca biome materials in our classroom. Learning about the biomes allow the children to understand the interdependence and interconnectedness of plants, animals, soil, sun and water.
