We are looking for participants for an online language study! If you are interested in participating please email [email protected] or message us on Facebook.

Nous recherchons des gens francophones (avec le français comme langue maternelle ) pour une étude en ligne (menée sur Teams ou Zoom) sur le langage.

L'étude durera de 1,5 à 2 heures et impliquera de remplir un questionnaire sur vos connaissances linguistiques, une tâche courte de lecture de mots et une tâche d'évaluation de mots.

The Language Development Lab at the University of New Brunswick is seeking participants for a study on language and personality traits!

The study will be less than 2 hours long and will be conducted over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Participants will complete a few questionnaires and short language tasks.

Compensation is $10/hour in Amazon gift cards (total: $20 in Amazon gift cards).

Mid-Week Mind Fact 4!! 🧠 This article discusses language and cognitive deficits in elderly euthymic bipolar patients. A very interesting and accessible read, so we encourage everyone to check it out! This article contributes to enhancing our understanding of the effects of bipolar disorder across a person’s lifespan.

This Mid-Week Mind Fact showcases the research of our own lab member Narissa Byers! 🎉 Byers focused on reading abilities and schizotypal traits in neurotypical young adults. This idea was sparked by previous research on connections between schizophrenia and dyslexia - including research papers completed by our lab director Dr. Veronica Whitford!

Mid-Week Mind Fact round 2! 🧠 This article was presented at the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science 2021 annual meeting which our lab team attended last week!
