Thank you so much La Maison des jeunes L'acAdo inc. for having us back again for your Francophone Carnival. We had so much fun!
The only footage of me was a "bad angle" 🙈 so I'll just post every one else!
And I swear, Piper actually did work! 🤣

Today I wish I could identify as a ferret...
However, I have to head out of town to visit some amazing kids and, then get some stuff moved to the new place this evening.
It's been the longest move ever but, when you're a single Mom, running a business, have 5 kids and a zoo, the new place being an hour away, not having unlimited funds and other roadblocks along the way, you can only go so fast! I can't want until it's all done and I can finally catch my breath!
❤️❤️❤️❤️

Pongo didn't want to get out of bed this morning either....
The first picture is how I found him when I got up, the second is what he did when I called his name 🤣🤣🤣
Not sure how he retreated so quickly but he clearly wanted to sleep in!

Malandra Morehouse and Kylie Chase words can't describe how grateful I am for the two of you!
Yesterday was rainy and yucky, and these two amazing women whom I'm lucky to call friends drove 2 hours each way, dressed to the NINES to help us out, to make sure every one at Shediac Renaissance Faire who came to see us had an amazing experience! They brought critters around to patrons who were lined up... Making sure to keep their charges warm and dry. They never stopped smiling (despite pretty serious back issues for one of the ladies) and for over two hours, helped make all many people's days. We are so lucky to have friends like you ladies! From the bottom on my heart, and my kids hearts...
Also, a HUGE thank you to the two festival volunteers who stood for two hours in the tent, helping with the guinea pigs, bunny, chinchilla and hedgehog (Coco, Bread, Bean, Captain Churchill and Pixie). You two were incredible. THANK YOU.
And another HUGE thank you to one of the Faire patrons who asked if she could help and proceeded to make sure every one got lots of ferret love for the entirety of our visit. Alexa Bourbonnais you are an amazing human being.
I wanted to go above and beyond to give every one an amazing experience yesterday, especially hearing about some people's experiences the day before with long long ups, and we all pulled out together and made it happen for every one!
Frankie, Piper, Georgia and I could NOT have done it as successfully as we did without the help of you all!
Thank you to the patrons who waited to see us, with smiles on their faces. The joy I got from visiting every one in line, filled my cup.
Thank you to the organizers for having us. It was truly a wonderful day and we're already excited for next year, figuring out ways to be bigger and better!
Thank you Shediac, it was an amazing visit with some very authentic medieval weather!
THANK YOU!
Until next time..
Huzzah!

Marty and I were not expecting to see some one special yesterday..
I always tell people most of our pets are rescues. Some from terrible homes, and some from amazing homes that for various reasons were unable to keep them. I often refer to Marty's previous family as an incredible family who loved him very much and still do. I often tell the stories about Petrie (Marty's best friend and son who is miserable) who only likes one person and they was one of the kids in his previous home.
Yesterday at Shediac Renaissance Faire one of Marty and Petrie's previous family members was there! The love her and her family still hold for them is beautiful! She was so excited when I pulled Marty out of his little pouch for her to visit with!
Thank you for coming out, I'm so glad you got to see your special boy. So many families have heard about what a wonderful home they came from. I speak of you all often!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Shediac’s Annual Renaissance Faire ✨ we're on our way! Hopefully the rain doesn't cancel or ruin the day!
I was trying to think last night about how we can go even further to give every one an excellent experience today. We are a very small part of the whole experience but we always try to go above and beyond so.. this is what my 15 year old suggested and I'm fully on board.
Normally for events, we are paid to attend. This one, we wanted to be at so are doing it for free. We do some events like this and always charge an admission fee for the hands on experience. We've tried a few different payment strategies, trying to figure out the best one. Most of our animals are rescues so, whenever we do events by admission, all the money goes right back to the rescue.
So today, because I have read the reviews, good and bad, we decided, to make it easier on those who want to hang out with the animals. We will be taking donations at the tent before you come in. Georgia will be set up and able to do cash, debit, credit and e-transfer. Pay what you can/want and come enjoy an incredible hands on experience!
