“Voice of Vision” at Fort Severn First Nation was a week we won’t forget.

We spent time with the youth, teaching them photography and letting them tell their stories how they see it- through their own eyes, their own lens. We were out in the community, on the land, just moving around and capturing.

The last night we had a bonfire, and took part in preparing the geese from start to finish. Ended the week with geese soup and bannock- the kind of meal that just brings everything together.

This is what it’s about. Being together, learning from each other, passing things on, and making space for the next generation coming up.

They’re a way to slow down, breathe, and let the mind rest.

During our Thriving in the Workplace session, we used simple scribble art as a tool to cope with stress. No pressure, no perfection, just movement and expression.

It was amazing to see how something so simple can help release tension and bring a sense of calm. ✨

It’s been such an honour to spend time with Splatsin First Nation and Simpcw First Nation, leading a Bullying Prevention & Managing Me: Emotional Regulation Conference.

So thankful for the conversations, the laughter, and the honesty each young person brought into the space. We’re leaving feeling grateful!
