Meet Miss Courtney P! Miss Courtney teaches Lyrical at DM3. Miss Courtney P teaches Lyrical at Dance Moves III! She loves watching her dancers take the stage and is excited to continue helping them grow in confidence and expression this season. When she’s not at the studio, you’ll likely find her relaxing with an iced coffee and an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Thanks for following along and getting to know the amazing people behind our classes at Dance Moves II & III!

Today, September 30, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. We honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities. Today we take the time to recognize and reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of the residential school system. Every Child Matters. 🧡

Next up in our Get to Know Your Teacher series is Miss Chloe, who teaches Tap & Lyrical at DM3! Her pre-teaching pick? A Starbucks iced matcha. Her perfect day off is spent with friends and family, and when it’s time to get cozy, Harry Potter is her go-to. ⚡️And something that always makes her smile? Seeing her students learn new things!

We asked our teachers to finish one sentence…
“This season, I hope my students…”
Different teachers. Different classes. Different dancers. But the same themes kept showing up again and again : joy, confidence, growth, determination, connection and a love for dance. Because while teaching great dance classes matters to us, so does creating a place where dancers feel encouraged, challenged, celebrated and excited to come back each week.

Next up, we’re getting to know Miss Chiara, one of our DM3 Ballet teachers! 🩰 A few things to know about Miss Chiara: she’s a Timmy’s French Vanilla + something sweet kind of girl, loves summer walks and winter puzzles, and her animals are guaranteed to make her smile. We love giving our dance families a little peek at the people behind the classes.
