Ms. Handreka's Religion 35 students had a great day of service this past Friday!

Students started the day with Mass at OLA parish, then volunteered at OLA school and Rivercrest Lodge.

They even got to help make and bake some delicious Pumpkin Pies with Rivercrest residents for their fall Thanksgiving fundraiser!

On Thursday evening, our school community came together to celebrate student achievement at our annual Academic Awards Evening.

It was so lovely to be able to celebrate the hard work and amazing achievements of our students in all curricular areas!

Thank you once more to our honored guests, families, friends, and of course our awards sponsors and donors!

All of our SAB grade 9 science classes had an incredible "School Science Float" field trip with RiverWatch Alberta this past Friday!

They got to experience a guided rafting tour aboard rafts equipped as mobile water laboratories! The day brought together hands on science learning in the areas of river ecology, culture, history, biodiversity, and stewardship. Truly an amazing learning experience!

Saturday, October 10th, is World Mental Health Day and we would like to highlight the importance of sharing awareness of the mental health issues that people struggle with. One in five high schoolers face a form of hardship and or mental health challenge that affects their day to day lives.

Therefore, to spread our love and support, we would like to invite all Cardinals to wear green or blue this Friday to support this cause and raise awareness that we are in this together and no one is alone.
