As we recognize World Teachers’ Day, we want to extend our sincere appreciation to the incredible staff at Next Step. Every day, our teachers create welcoming, supportive learning environments where students feel valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed. Their commitment to personalized learning, strong relationships, and student success is at the heart of everything we do.

The impact of their work is reflected in this year’s Elk Island Public Schools Assurance Survey results. An outstanding 98.85% of Next Step students indicated they were satisfied with the quality of teaching they receive at school, while 99.24% of parents and caregivers expressed satisfaction with the quality of teaching their child receives. These results are a testament to the professionalism, care, and dedication of our staff.

On behalf of our students, families, and school community, thank you to every member of the Next Step team for making a difference each day. Your work changes lives, opens doors, and inspires students to keep moving forward. Small steps are still progress.
