Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day. It is a day where we pay tribute to all those who have been affected by the wrongs of the residential school system and honour the survivors. Tuesday afternoon we held our Truth and Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day Assembly at ARYES. The assembly was impactful and the day itself was full of powerful messages to stress the meaning of orange shirt day and that "Every Child Matters". Thank you to Mrs. Gardner’s class that led our Truth and Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day Assembly.
