Hey there! We’re the Ward family — a faith-filled crew who love music, people, and doing life together. Our home is always full of people, laughter, love, and (let’s be honest) the sound of someone singing, playing the piano, or strumming a guitar.

Destiny is the heart of our family and the Creative Arts Director of Evangel Music School. She’s got a big love for God and people and has a passion for music and the creative arts. She has spent the last 20 years leading and mentoring others, helping them find their voice and their purpose through music.

Josh is the steady and strong rock of our family. He’s all about Jesus, the gym, guitars, and showing up for the people he loves. Whether he’s working hard or jamming in the living room, he brings strength and encouragement wherever he goes.

What about the kids? Well, they always have something going on — from dancing with their outreach crew at The Groove Dance School, to attending music lessons, youth group, and more. Shayla brings the spark. She’s our bold, thoughtful, and loud rainbows and butterflies’ kid, who is full of personality and heart. Lilly is just as awesome. She has a heart for evangelism and a passion for going after the things of the Lord. She loves music, fitness, and people. And Seth? He’s our not-so-quiet genius and the go-to guy for anything techy. He’s so creative and is always dreaming up something cool.

We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We love God, we love each other, and we love other people. We love using our gifts to bring a little light and joy into the world. Whether we’re teaching, leading, serving, or just hanging out — we’re in this together.

Evangel Music School is about more than just making great music and musicians. Our mission is to equip and inspire musicians of all ages to discover and grow in their gifts, making meaningful connections along the way.

At the heart of our program is a passion for music and a love for people. Our classes aren’t just about hitting the right notes. Every class combines skill-building with mentorship and will be an opportunity for you to sharpen your musical gifts, build confidence, and get the kind of support that helps you grow, both as a musician and as a person.
