As promised, our AGM is coming up (ahead of tryouts) on Thursday, September 3 at 7pm. Location TBA

Thank you to those who have reached out to us already! We are still looking for shoes to fill the positions of: Vice President, Treasurer, Equipment Director, Facilities Director, and Technical Director.

Anyone interested in joining our executive in any position must attend the AGM to be voted in for the season, so we’ll see you Sep 3 😉

PS - we are still looking to fill a few coaching roles before we hold tryouts. If you are interested or know someone who’d be a great fit, send us a message! As it stands right now, we don’t have enough coaches for each age group.

NBCVC Status Update:

School is wrapping up, Summer is finally here, and we want to let you know of our plans for next season.

While Volleyball Alberta has created an optional open commitment period over the Summer, NBCVC will instead be continuing with Fall tryouts as we have in past seasons. Tryout periods are listed below, and we’ll share exact dates closer to September once details are confirmed.

🏐 U16-18: August 30 - September 13
🏐 U14-15: September 12 - 20
🏐 U12-13: Late November

**Important Note**
New this season - we will only hold tryouts for a given age group once we have coaching staff committed.

Thank you for celebrating with us last night! Just like that, another unbelievable season is done and dusted. Every team’s and player’s journey is unique and we are so proud of each and every one of them.

Congratulations to the players who were honoured last night; and try as we may, we just don’t have the words to properly thank the coaches who put such immense effort into guiding our teams this and every season. We truly appreciate you 💙

Sincere thanks also to our team of volunteers and parents who work together quietly behind the scenes to keep us all playing.

We believe in the value of volleyball and competitive sport for the long term development of our youth athletes. Volleyball teaches resiliency, teamwork, accountability, respect, and leadership just to name a few. We see this in our players season after season, and that’s the reason we keep coming back. Let’s go Ice!
