🚒 Our CLS Kindergarten recently class had a great time visiting the Taylor Fire Hall!

They explored fire trucks, met firefighters, and learned important fire safety tips. Thank you to the fire hall team for an unforgettable experience! ❤️

Our CLS art students have been exploring the beautiful tradition of Ukrainian Pysanky egg decorating just in time for Easter! 🐣 Here is our grade nine students as they explore their creativity, patience and care in each design and a few finished masterpieces from our elementary students.

One of our favorite Friday traditions at CLS is Reading buddies! 📚 Kindergarten and Grade 3 students team up to share stories, practice their reading, and build the sweetest friendships.

❄️Ski Day for our CLS Middle School! ❄️

Our Grade 3 class had a special visit from Evie, the garter snake! Students learned some fascinating facts about garter snakes and even got the chance to touch her. A hands-on (scales-on…) learning experience they won’t forget!

Our CLS students took part in the Annual Terry Fox Run, honouring Terry's legacy and raising over $900 for cancer research. It was a beautiful day to be together for such an important cause! 🩵💙

📚Our CLS junior high students recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to Peaceful Pages! They got introduced to all kinds of books—adventure, mystery, apologetics, even biographies of martyrs—as they get ready for independent novel studies. The Grade 7s (pictured above) loved their visit and were spoiled with hot chocolate and cookies! A special thank you to for hosting!

📚🐋 Grades 1 and 3 enjoyed a special visit from local author Emily Fehr! She shared her brand new children’s book, I Like Killer Whales the Best, and the students were hooked from the first page! 💙📖 Thanks to @.fehr.author for sharing with us!
