Please note that the Powwow Dance Demonstrations scheduled for today, Wednesday, September 16, have been cancelled due to weather.

🎶 Our noon-hour Singing Demonstrations will still be taking place! We invite everyone to come out, enjoy the songs, and gather together as we finish the noon hour with our usual Round Dance. 🪶❤️

Okanese First Nation, in partnership with FHQTC Education, is seeking a passionate and committed Elementary Teacher (Kindergarten to Grade 3) to join the Okanese Learning Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the reopening of Okanese First Nation’s community school and help create a learning environment grounded in First Nations culture, language, land-based learning, and ways of knowing.

Do you dance powwow? 🪶 We are inviting dancers to take part in the noon hour dance demonstrations during the Treaty 4 Gathering 2026 Student Activities!

📅 September 15, 16 & 17, 2026
📍 Treaty 4 Territory | Fort Qu’Appelle, SK

Dancers who would like to participate are asked to meet behind the announcer stand before noon hour, fully dressed in regalia.

✨ A daily honorarium will be provided to participating dancers.

Come share your culture, your dance, and your pride with the students attending this year's Gathering. ❤️💛🤍🖤

✅ Full-time post-secondary student
✅ Minimum 65% GPA
✅ In good academic standing
