Calling Newcomers to Fort Nelson!

Are you new to Fort Nelson, or have you made our community home within the last few years?

As part of our Voices of Resilience project, the Fort Nelson Community Literacy Society is looking to connect with newcomers who would be interested in sharing their experiences of moving to Fort Nelson, settling into a new community, and building a life here.

Whether you came from another community, province, or country, we would love to hear from you.

Calling Indigenous Elders & Knowledge Keepers

As part of our Voices of Resilience project, the Fort Nelson Community Literacy Society is looking to connect with FNFN/PRFN members and local Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers who may be interested in sharing their stories, experiences, cultural knowledge, and historical perspectives with our community.

Through welcoming and respectful storytelling circles and intergenerational learning, we hope to create space for Elders and Knowledge Keepers to share, guide, inspire, and connect with younger generations and the wider community.

Interested in participating, or know an Elder or Knowledge Keeper who may be interested? Please reach out to us 250-850-5616.
