Last night, the Board unveiled the new Fort Nelson School District logo!

After consulting students, families, and staff, the Board selected six design elements to represent our students and families, community, history, land, and values. Local artist Michael Crumback brought those elements together in the new logo, and joined us for its unveiling.

Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas throughout this process, and to Michael for his care in creating a meaningful and lasting symbol for our District!

📞 New District Phone System

Our new district phone system is now live! Unfortunately, we were unable to transfer our existing phone numbers, so the district now has one toll-free number.

When you call, simply follow the prompts to select the school or district office you wish to reach. Please see the attached poster for the new number and further details.

Our old phone lines will remain operational for a short time while we ensure the new system is working as expected.

We appreciate your patience as our staff become familiar with the new phones. We hope this system will provide families with a more reliable and convenient way to reach us!

On June 12, FNSS Athletics wrapped up another incredible year by celebrating our student-athletes at the 2026 Sports Banquet. It was a wonderful evening filled with great food, laughter and recognition of the hard work, dedication, sportsmanship and achievements of our athletes throughout the year. A very special thank you to Steve and Betty Wilson for preparing a delicious meal for everyone in attendance, and congratulations to all our award recipients. To our graduating athletes, your time at FNSS may be ending, but your opportunity to make a lasting impact on the world is only just beginning. Remember, once a Husky, always a Husky!
