🔧 Welding & Wellbeing: Summer Trades in Action! 🏗️

This summer, our Welding and Wellbeing students aren't just learning to strike an arc — they're building a go-cart from the ground up! From cutting and fitting the tube-steel frame to mounting the steering rack, rear axle, engine, and seat, students are getting hands-on experience with real fabrication skills: measuring, welding, assembly, and problem-solving as a team.

Beyond the technical skills, this project is about building confidence, focus, and a sense of accomplishment — the "wellbeing" side of the program is just as important as the welding itself. There's something powerful about watching a pile of steel tubing turn into a driveable machine with your own two hands.

Hello there, future builders! We're excited to announce our new trades program for Grades 5-12. In Grade 5, our students will start in the shop building skills they need for the upcoming courses in High School. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into woodworking, automotive, and more. It's never too early to start building your future! 🔨

🎉Thank you parents, families and community for an amazing school year! 🌟 The school office is now closed for summer and will reopen on August 24. We are thrilled to announce the launch of a Trades program at Chalo School, available for students starting in Grade 5 all the way to Grade 12! As part of this new programming, we will also offer exciting new electives in Grades 5-7, including trades woodshop and music. Have a wonderful summer filled with family and friendship! 😎

Our High School Report Cards are ready for pick-up!

Reminder that if you have any items at the school please pick them up before noon. If you don't pick up your report card then it will be mailed this afternoon.

Any student items left today will be added to our student use bin, donated to the Thrift Store or recycled.
