Fnbjj would like to congratulate our newest promotion to grey belt, Raya Stephens!

Last year she joined our class at a time when there were a lot of the students were bigger than her and had more experience. Some kids might have trouble with that but she thrived, learning new things quickly and was named most improved of 2025.

She put on an outstanding grey belt test. She demonstrated 24 techniques from various positions including some escapes, takedowns, sweeps and submissions. She also sparred all the students in class in a shark tank.

Thank you to all our students who helped put Raya through testing! It'll be your turn to test for a new belt in no time 🥋
