Need to make a Grade 10-12 course change request? We're resharing these important reminders to help make the process as smooth as possible:

Read the form carefully before submitting your request. You can only submit the form once so be sure to include all requests, and be very specific.

Students must be logged into your school Gmail account to access and complete the form. Requests to access the form from personal email accounts will not be accepted.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that the change can be accommodated. Changes depend on course availability, class sizes, timetable conflicts, graduation requirements, and other scheduling considerations.

Our bell schedule has changed slightly for this school year. Please take note that Junior High and Senior High now start and end at the same time and share the same 60-minute lunch hour!

Once schedules are available, please review yours carefully.

📚 Grade 7 Welcome!

We’re excited to welcome our new Grade 7 students to École McTavish!

We will be hosting an optional Grade 7 Welcome next Friday from 2:00–3:00 p.m.

If you’re entering Grade 7 and would like to:

Find your homeroom
Meet your teacher
Get familiar with the school
Ask any questions before the first day

Please feel free to stop by anytime between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Parents and guardians are welcome to join as well.

Attn High School Students: Earn credits for volunteer work! ✔️

With school right around the corner, make sure you don't miss out on tryouts for fall sports.

Volleyball tryouts will be happening right away with Varsity and JV dates set for next week. Athletes that are not available need to reach out to Coach Peraino or Coach Bishop.

JH Volleyball Tryouts will be in the second week of September.

Cross Country runners will have a meeting in the first week of September. City Meet is Sept. 26th.
For Varsity athletes, Zones are Oct. 7th in Elk Point.

Golf will have a meeting in the first week of school. Golfers must be experienced and have their official handicap. City Championship is Sept. 14th.
For Varsity athletes, Zones are Sept. 21st here at FMGC!

Our front windows have had a makeover, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!

There are so many ways to belong at McTavish: in the classroom, on the court, on the stage, in the trades, through the arts, and everywhere in between. What makes our school community special is the people in it.
