🌱 From Tiny Seeds to Our Little Harvest! 🧺💚

Our gardening journey has been such a beautiful experience for our little gardeners!

It all started with the simplest little steps. First, we prepared our garden by laying down the pebbles, followed by layers of soil. We added water, carefully planted our seedlings, and watered them again. 🌱💦

Then came the waiting… watching… and caring. 🥰

Our little gardeners watched as the plants slowly grew, bloomed beautiful flowers 🌸, and eventually, those flowers turned into seeds. 🌱✨

And finally… harvest day! 🧺🥕

The children got to pluck the harvest with their little hands and carefully place the seeds into the small baskets provided for them. Seeing their excitement and pride made all the watering, waiting, and caring so worth it! 💚

Through this hands-on experience, our toddlers learned that growing something takes time, patience, care, and lots of love. 🌱

From pebbles and soil to flowers, seeds, and finally our harvest — what an amazing little journey it has been! 🥹🌿🧺

✨ Invisible Ink Magic! 🪄💛

Who knew science could be this exciting? Our campers became little scientists by creating their own invisible messages using simple kitchen ingredients!

📝 How we did it:
💛 Mix baking soda with a little water to make the invisible ink.
🖌️ Use a cotton swab or paintbrush to write or draw on white paper.
⏳ Let it dry completely until the message disappears.
🌿 Paint over the paper with a mixture of turmeric and hand sanitizer.
✨ Like magic, the hidden message appears in a beautiful reddish-brown colour!

This fun experiment introduced children to science through play, while encouraging curiosity, observation, patience, and creativity. Watching their secret messages magically appear was the highlight of the day! 🔬💛

✨ From Clay to Keepsake! 🎨🧡
Our campers spent 2 days creating their very own air dry clay bag charms! First, they kneaded and shaped the clay, then patiently waited 24 hours for it to dry before bringing their creations to life with colourful paints. 🌈
This activity was about so much more than making a cute charm. It taught children the value of patience, persistence, and resilience. Some beads cracked, some were tricky to thread, and not everything went as planned, but they kept trying. 💪
The biggest reward was not just the finished bag charm. It was the proud smile on each child's face after accomplishing something that challenged them. At camp, we believe the best learning happens when children create, problem solve, and discover that hard work truly pays off. ❤️✨

🌿☀️ Sunshine, Science & Nature Magic! ✨🌸

Our campers explored the fascinating world of cyanotype-inspired printing! 💛🧪 Traditionally, cyanotype is a sun-printing process that uses light-sensitive chemicals to create beautiful blue-and-white images. For our activity, we created a turmeric-based alternative, using pressed flowers and leaves, sunlight, and a baking soda solution to reveal stunning natural silhouettes! 🌼🍃✨

From collecting and pressing plants to experimenting with natural colours and watching chemistry happen before their eyes, this activity brought together STEM, creativity, nature exploration, patience, and curiosity. 🔬🎨☀️

A perfect camp experience—hands-on, messy, magical, and full of discovery! 🤩🌿💛
