Fall Sensory Play🍁🍂

Children explored different fall-themed materials by scooping, pouring, filling and transferring them using bowls and spoons. They looked at and talked about fall items such as pumpkins and pine cones while playing together. This activity supports fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, language development, focus and sensory exploration through hands-on play.

Pretend Hair Cutting Activity ✂️

The children enjoyed pretending to be hairstylists. They used scissors to cut the yarn hair and decided how long or short they wanted it to be. They had fun creating different hairstyles.
This activity helped children strengthen their fine motor skills as they held and controlled the scissors while cutting the yarn. It supported hand-eye coordination as they carefully decided where to cut. Choosing how long or short they wanted the hair encouraged decision-making and creativity. Pretending to be a hairstylist also encouraged imagination and pretend play while talking and laughing about their hairstyles supported language and social interaction.
