🎃 Pumpkin Sensory Painting Activity

The children explored a fun pumpkin painting sensory activity using orange paint. They used their fingers and hands to spread and move the paint around the pumpkin picture, noticing the colour, texture, and how the paint moved under their touch.

Today, I wanted to share a little glimpse of what our children have been enjoying from toddlers to preschool

We love keeping our little ones busy with hands-on activities that encourage learning through play.

They get to explore, move, use their imagination, practice their colours and coordination, and have fun with their friends.

Every activity gives them a chance to learn something new while building confidence and independence.

“Little Doctors” 🩺🧸

Today, the children participated in a fun pretend-play doctor activity.

They dressed up as little doctors and used pretend medical tools to take care of their stuffed animals.

The children practiced checking the teddy bears’ temperature, giving them a check-up, applying a pretend bandage, and making sure their “patients” were feeling better.

The children showed care, empathy, and nurturing skills as they talked to and comforted their stuffed animals.

They also practiced fine-motor skills and hand-eye coordination while holding and using the toy medical tools.

This activity encouraged imagination, communication, social-emotional development, problem-solving, and early understanding of health and caring for others.

The children enjoyed taking turns being the doctor and caring for their furry patients. 🧸❤️🩺

🌸 Outdoor Nature

Colour-Matching Activity:

The children explored outside and collected flowers, leaves, and other natural treasures, then matched them by colour in their egg cartons. 🌿🌼

Benefits: Builds colour recognition, observation skills, fine motor skills, sensory exploration, and appreciation for nature.

The children used cups, droppers, and colourful materials to explore and create their own little emotion-themed characters.

As they played, the children talked about different feelings such as happy, sad, angry, and surprised.

They practiced recognizing emotions while using their imagination to create and interact with the characters.
