Learning Story β Name Matching Activity
The children participated in a fun name-matching and sorting activity outdoors.
They explored the tray by looking at the different name cards placed around it and worked together to find the matching pieces.
The children picked up the small paper pieces from the basket and carefully matched them to the correct name cards.
They practiced recognizing their own names and the names of their friends while using their hands to pick up, hold, and place the pieces.
This activity supported early literacy, name recognition, visual matching, concentration, fine-motor skills, and problem-solving. It also encouraged the children to take turns, communicate with each other, and learn through hands-on play.
The children were excited to participate and enjoyed finding the correct matches. ππ§‘
