= New Friend, New Experience =

Today, Mavric (11 months) met a new friend, Denver (13 months) during drop-in care. The boys explored toys beside each other, sharing smiles and curious looks as they became comfortable in each other’s presence.
Through this simple interaction, they practiced early social skills, confidence, and learning to be around peers in a warm and safe environment.
A beautiful start to friendship and social learning 💛

Indoor Snow Play ❄️
Today, I brought two buckets of snow inside for the children to explore and play with. They were excited to touch and feel the cold snow while scooping, pouring, and pretending to make special treats.
The children enjoyed the sensory experience as they noticed how the snow felt and slowly melted in their hands. This activity supported their creativity, fine motor skills, and curiosity while bringing outdoor winter play indoors.
It was wonderful to see their imagination and joy during this simple but meaningful learning experience!

— A Gentle Beginning -
Date: April 1, 2026
Child: Mavric
Today marked a very special milestone — Baby Boy’s Mavric first day at daycare. This transition was meaningful not only for him but also for Mom, as this was their first time being apart since his birth.
During arrival, Baby Mavric showed quiet curiosity while staying close for comfort. Separation can be a big emotional step at 11 months old, especially when strong attachment with parents has been built since birth. This shows a healthy and secure bond with Mom 🤍.
Throughout the day, we focused on creating a safe, calm, and nurturing environment to help him feel secure. He observed his surroundings carefully, listened to new sounds, and slowly became comfortable with the space and caregivers.
At the beginning, Baby Boy was not yet standing independently, so we supported his development through floor play, tummy time, and gentle encouragement. He explored toys while sitting and reaching, strengthening his muscles and coordination little by little.
To support Mom’s peace of mind, regular photo and video updates were shared showing Baby Boy exploring, playing, and settling into his new environment. These moments help maintain connection and reassure families that their child is safe, cared for, and happy while they are at work.
What I noticed today:
Beginning to trust new educator
Observing other children with interest
Practicing movement and balance through play
Responding positively to gentle interaction and comforting routines
* Learning & Development:
Social-emotional development through secure attachment and gradual separation
Physical development through supported movement and exploration
Building confidence in a new environment
Transitions take time, and today was a beautiful first step. We will continue to provide consistent routines, comfort, and encouragement as Baby Boy grows more confident each day.
Thank you, Mom, for trusting us with your precious child. We are partners in supporting his growth, happiness, and development. 🤍

Bently and Kash enjoyed active play together today using the wobble balance board. They practiced taking turns, balancing, and spinning round and round while sharing lots of smiles and laughter. Even during Bently’s short visit, both children showed wonderful cooperation, friendship, and growing confidence in their movement skills. A fun and meaningful learning moment through play!
