Halloween is behind us, and it feels like Christmas Day here already...I got a knock at the door and found some of my newly ordered supplies waiting for me on the other side!!



Will keep you all updated on how we intend to use these threads for a variety of creative activities!



This weekend, we plan on repurposing a couple of shoe boxes we have leftover after purchasing winter boots. Stay tuned for photos of that craft, along with the extended supply list!

Today we got crafty & we used some of our "must-have" items - these are things that we put to use with almost every craft we do; a go-to shortlist for the next time you find yourself mesmerized in the craft aisle, and unsure of what to pick up:


-craft/construction paper
-poster paint
-white glue
-pipe cleaners
-popsicle sticks
-scissors
-pom poms
-craft beads
-googley eyes
-glitter (not pictured)


Of course you don't need any of these items to create, just a little imagination, but these help 🌈



A few miscellaneous things that have found their way into our box over the years include: old bingo dabbers, plastic cutlery, egg cartons & bubble wrap. There really is no limit to what can be repurposed in the name of FUN! So get in the habit of not throwing anything out 🙈

Do you have a space in your home where you like to be creative? Here is the designated "messy" place in my home, it's a little corner in the kitchen where the kids can be free to paint, glue and sparkle their hearts out!




If you don't have space for something like this, having a drawer, box or tote you can take out when it's time to be used works too! This weekend I'll be posting some of my favorite "busy box" items, the things that will give you the most bang for your buck! 🎨🖌️🖍️

This mornings was making collars or necklaces for our stuffed animals 🌈 As a busy mom of 4 I'm always looking for alternatives to colouring books (which are awesome too)



This craft is easily achieved & helps the little ones work on things like fine motor skills, patterns etc. All supplies are easily found at the dollar store! .

This masterpiece was created by my twins this weekend, as we got artsy ringing in their 1st birthday! 💙❤️💛 They had a blast, and we had the bathtub ready 😉 Have a little fun with the little ones in your life, process art is a good place to start! 🥰
