Went out on trails for a nature walk with our fellow educator and our new consultant, Cristie.

As we follow the FLIGHT Framework, this meeting in the woods provides opportunities for children to build relationships, engage in play, explore their environment, and express their creativity. Children participated in open-ended activities and demonstrated curiosity, communication, collaboration, and a sense of belonging when they played together.

Learning to recognize colors.

Today when we were out for our nature walk, we found bunches and bunches of raspberries in the bushes. We were not expecting this many berries in the bushes. It was a wonderful experience with the children. We picked raspberries and ate the clean ones ☺️.
It was so much fun finding the big and clean raspberries and eating them 😁.
Children loved the activity and would love to go berry picking again.

Flower soup day.

Nap time doesn't always mean sleep to me, it also means downtime for the children who don't nap. In my facility children are given quiet time regardless if they sleep or not, I need this time to eat, clean, and prepare for the afternoon.
