**REMINDER, AGM tomorrow night**

Sending the hugest thank you to all of the volunteers and donators that made our staff appreciation lunch a resounding success! Without your support we could not have pulled it off.

Our staff appreciation lunch is May 5th. We are looking for some volunteers to help with prep and serving on that day. We are also looking for donations for anyone who wishes to help in that way. Etransfer can go to the PA email: [email protected]. Just mention the staff lunch in the notes.

Reminder that the school council and parent association meetings are tonight @ 6:00pm in the learning commons.

Our AGM's are coming up on May 19th. We need many new members to be able to continue our Council and Association effectively. Our numbers are small and will be shrinking even more in the next few years with members leaving due to graduating students. Please join us at our next meeting, April 21st or the AGM May 19th. Its the best way to find out all the upcoming events and activities at the school and support your student(s) learning opportunities. There is a very minimal time commitment for most positions, basically just 2 hours a month for meetings and occasional volunteer opportunities. Please reach out if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER REQUEST
March 26 & 27, multiple shifts available.
Our association's primary fundraising event is quickly approaching, and we urge you to register for a shift to support the various school groups requiring additional funding. This includes sports teams, drama, robotics, and band and more. These funds are crucial for their success and cannot be secured without volunteer assistance. If your student has ever been involved in extra curricular activities, used a school Chromebook or traveled with a school group, then they have benefited from the funds raised at our casino. Next meeting is February 17th @ 6:00pm. We have 3 of the new trustees coming to speak with us to start the school council meeting. As well as the robotics club coming to update on how the club is doing and what’s new.

We have a meeting coming up next week. Please consider joining us. Also, please take a moment to complete the Alberta budget survey, it closes on the 15th.
