Yay!! Little Miss EM turned 4 today!

I am so grateful and proud for being your day home provider and I witness how you develop your skills through play everyday.

I love how you handle the situation when you encounter incident as you play and keep saying that “She/he’s still learning.”, and “Accident happens.”

Thank you for being such a good example for the little one and always show your patience. I really appreciate when you share ideas and help the little one during Art and Crafts.

I love when you come to me and offer a hug when you think I’m sad (even I pretend sometimes).😁 Always remember, you are amazing and Auntie Gemma loves you. Happy 4th birthday Little Miss EM!!❤️🎂

Community Visit August 21, 2026

Our community visit was held in the school gymnasium.

The children were so excited to see and meet new friends. As soon as we arrived, I saw the set up was so inviting that made the children ready and so excited to explore. They ran, climbed, spun, and met new friends as everyone was looking forward for.

I loved watching children challenge themselves and try new things. Something different and a little bit harder than what they were used to. Some things took a few tries but they kept going until they figured it out.

Seeing children’s confidence, grow and watching them learn that it’s okay to keep trying make me so proud of them.

Community visits with other day home providers give us a chance to connect with local neighborhoods, build social skills, and access shared community resources.

Thank you CDDH for organizing this. It was an amazing experience for all of us.

Ocean Scene July 17-20, 2026

The children explored with coloured rice today with sea animals. They scooped and poured rice from one container to another. LC made a house for her fish out or corals and seaweeds, her sister R made a cake. She put the snails on top of it as a candles and sang a birthday song for her own birthday party.

The children said they had a sea birthday party in the ocean.😁

Fishing July 14, 2026

Today was an exciting day for the Little Sprouts Day Home children. As I promised them, we would go fishing one of these days, I observed they were interested in it for a couple days.

“Today is a fishing day!”, the older children said when they saw the set up in the back yard.

“Fishing” activity, boosts hand-eye coordination and fine motor as children learn to hold a stick as a fishing rod and catch fish. It also builds patience, color recognition, and social skills as they switch and sharing fishing rods.
