Super excited after first DANCEPL3Y kids DANCEPL3Y Kids Instructor Training - Fort McMurray AB - June 22 &23, 2024. Thank you Matt Leung for being a great mentor and a super fun human all around.

and DANCEPL3Y we (PL3Y Education Wood Buffalo) are Walter and Gladys Hill Public School this week dancing, moving and making those important connections between how we feel when we move our bodies. As adults we sometimes get stuck in a rut emotionally and physically and that was me the last couple of weeks. I’m so grateful I got to move and dance with these this awesome bunch of around 400 students today. The energy was fantastic!

In our program kids get to discover yoga through a playful lens. 🤸‍♀️ 🔍

We start by getting kids active, allowing them to release energy before using tools like breath, mindfulness & focused poses to help them find calmness 🧘‍♀️🧘 .

Another aspect of our program that instructors love is that all of the lessons and units are premade so that certified instructors can simply focus on teaching and connecting with their students rather than creating new lessons each week.

Our curriculum-based school programs are engaging workshops designed to address and assess Physical Education outcomes and standards.

Students get energized through a variety of fun and interACTIVE activities that develop coordination, strength and fundamental movement skills (such as balance, twisting, bending, jumping, hopping, rolling etc.).

DANCEPL3Y Kids In-Person Training: Edmonton Aug 2023 Join Melanie in Edmonton in August to learn our DANCEPL3Y Kids Program. This 2-day course includes a focus on instructing skills and how to teach our award-winning multi-style physical literacy and dance program to kids ages 6-12.

Fantastic residency Sister Mary Phillips School last week. We had a blast busting some moves with students to songs from all around the world and from decades ago whilst practicing our 3 rules 🤩🤩🤩

That moment when over 60 students shout out loud simultaneously fills ❤️ like nothing else can.

We are so grateful to be invited back to St. Kateri Catholic School to provide our physical literacy program DANCEPL3Y residency.

Highlights of the past 4 days included a student that would give the whole world as well as real life superheroes in the eyes of the students - moms, dads, grandparents, teachers and nurses.

Couldn’t be more proud of all the students for their work, positive attitudes and energy. 🙏❤️❤️❤️
