Are you a current or former daycare family? Then this invitation is for you!❤️

“Wakanioten” Under The Rainbow Child Care Centre is part of a much bigger community — the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre — and we would love for our daycare families to have an opportunity to connect, learn more about the Centre, share your thoughts, and help shape its future.

You don't need to regularly attend Friendship Centre events or already be involved with the Centre to join us. If your family is connected to our daycare, you are already part of our community, and your voice matters.

Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of food, fun, connection and conversation as we gather to support the Friendship Centre's strategic planning process and hear from the community about what matters to you.

Please bring a dish to share and, if you have one, your feast bundle.

What is a feast bundle?
A feast bundle is a personal, reusable kit containing a plate, bowl, cup and utensils, wrapped in cloth and carried in a bag. Feast bundles are brought to community gatherings, powwows and ceremonies as a way of reducing single-use plastics and honouring our reciprocal responsibility to care for Mother Earth. 🌎

This is a family-friendly gathering, and you're welcome to come for as much or as little of the afternoon as works for your family.

The Friendship Centre is more than the place our daycare is connected to — it is a community hub, and we want our daycare families to feel welcomed, connected and included in that community.
