FEIA Celebrates Historic Team Canada U18 Championship
FEIA’s Deng Ngor scored the last five points of the game as Team Canada upset the United States 67-65 to win its first ever FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup boys basketball championship June 7 in Mexico.
He hit the game-tying 3-pointer and then the winning dunk in the final seconds.
FEIA coach Steve Houston was Canada’s assistant coach.
Deng, considered perhaps the top Grade 11 prospect in Canada, helped the FEIA Falcons win the Ontario title this past season. He has had many university scholarship offers but will return to FEIA this September.

Meet Mark and discover how our AI Program brings ideas to life.
Through hands-on robotics projects, students learn how to combine artificial intelligence, programming, and engineering to solve real-world challenges. Mark and his team went through multiple design iterations, testing, refining, and improving their robot every step of the way.
From using AI-assisted coding tools to building and troubleshooting hardware, students gain valuable experience in both software development and practical engineering. The result is more than just a robot, it's a deeper understanding of innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and the future of technology.
At FEIA, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students don't just study AI — they build with it.
