ADCS A K-12 school in the remote northern community of Fort Chipewyan, AB. ADCS offers a regular compliment of core subjects.

Fort Chipewyan is accessible by air 12 months of the year and a winter road is constructed for ground travel December to March. ADCS is a unique school in that students from Kindergarten to Grade 10 cross paths each day providing younger students with excellent role models. Junior and senior students can also enrol in industrial arts, home economics / food studies and other enrichment courses. We

offer daily physical activity for students in Grades 1 to 10 and boast one of the strongest physical education programs in the Division. The school has been equipped with SMART Boards in each classroom, wireless internet, and a mobile computer lab. ADCS is a place where each student can find their potential.

Summer is going by fast and before you know it school will be starting up again. Some important things to remember as we approach the end of August.

- With our exciting shift to online registration, we are available to help make the process smooth between 1-4 August 25th, 26th, 27th and from 9 am -1pm August 28th.

- The first day of school, August 31st. Mr. Dale will be keeping his usual routes and times.

- Call the school office, if you have any additional questions and we'll be happy to help.

2026–2027 Online Registration Notice:
As we look ahead to the next school year, we are transitioning to a fully online registration process.
